Company and fleet

The Lighthouse Group is compiled by several companies owned by, and run in close cooperation with shipowners. We have a wide reaching Norwegian and international network in shipping, and efficient contracts with regards to insurance and repairs.

Lighthouse Ship Management AS was started in 2011 and is situated in Torangsvåg, Austevoll municipality, Norway and marked the start for the Lighthouse Group. Through Lighthouse Ship Management AS we offer crew management, ship management including techincal and ISM and accounting services among many other things to self owned and external vessels.

Following the successful start of our mangement, Lighthouse Chartering AS was established in 2012 as to better position us towards cargo broking, operation, agency and logistical services for our own vessel. Over time the company have extended its network and is now offering also its full range of services for external vessels.

In 2020 our group was strengthened further through the acquistion of Riga Shipping SiA, giving us the opportuinity to further extend our services including ship management, technical, crewing and accounting with highly skilled crew in the company now renamed Lighthouse Riga Shipping SiA.

The group currently manage vessels of seven shipowners; Bio Feeder AS, Vestfrakt Shipping AS, Marrbulk Rederi AS, Rederiet Tinto AS, Samlaks AS, Bergen Shipping AS and Salten Shipping AS. Together this makes a fleet of fourteen vessels, rigged and equipped for a wide range of purposes.

All our vessels are certified according to the ISM-code, and parts of the fleet according to the ISPS-code.
